I just want to say that this song really helps with the pain you are going through. It makes you want to believe in yourself and that things will get better. Even as I lay here in pain this song helps me. Stay strong everyone.

I believe that this is a Christian song that appeals to the masses. Christian or not you can love this song and make it that song that hepls you throught the day. It sounds like they are singing about heaven =]

@KaeAlexandria your correct bout not mattering 2much. It just helps2kno where musicians are coming from+the heart and mindset behind the music! i am a musician+i know well that its dire importance that you "live what you sing" because it reflects on your character as a person and a musician. somethings wrong if your writing music that is totally against your beliefs/character and vice versa. it may not be THAT important but it helps to know where ppl are coming from so you can relate correctly.

I just wanted to quickly say a couple things; I've seen people on here proclaiming to God and such because Switchfoot (as people) have a strong faith. I've also seen people on here bashing the band because of their faith. My statement is; what does it matter? I happen to be non-religious, but this song still holds a lot of meaning for me, as does all their music! In my opinion, if their faith helps make such beautiful music, I'm all for it!Why should it matter if they're religious or not? |
